To Whom It May Concern:

The DREAM program has been invaluable to the Flathead Valley for 30 years. What started as a grassroots effort to provide accessibility to tourists visiting the valley, has grown into a service to include everyone, whether they live here or vacation here. I feel the current leadership and board of directors have a vision that has been delivered with fidelity and consideration for their clienteles needs.

Personally, they have been a benefit to my Special Olympic team. They have embraced the athletes by providing winter recreation opportunities such as skiing, cross country and snowshoeing. I have stood with many teary eyes parents as they see their child gliding down the hill for the first time – an accomplishment they never thought possible but MADE possible through DREAM and their volunteers. DREAM also added a summer program to provide recreational opportunities year round.

DREAM provides ongoing, yearly training so they are highly qualified to work with those with visual impairments, head injuries, autism, intellectual disabilities and acquired disabilities such as PTSD and amputations.

Equipment needs expand as a program grows and DREAM always strives to keep up with the latest advances in adaptive equipment. I encourage you to consider DREAM for additional funding so they can continue to provide the quality program we are so lucky to have access to right on our backyard.

Sincerely,
