Programs

DREAM provides year-round adaptive recreation opportunities, including alpine skiing and snowboarding, Nordic skiing, mountain biking, paved-path cycling, fishing, paddlesports, and motorized watersports throughout Northwest Montana.

With trained staff and volunteers, specialized equipment, and individualized instruction, we create safe, fun, and empowering experiences tailored to each participant's interests, abilities, and goals.

Who Can Participate

DREAM serves individuals ages 5 through adulthood with physical, cognitive, intellectual, developmental, and sensory disabilities. From first-time adventurers to experienced athletes, we meet each participant where they are, supporting independence, confidence, and personal achievement.

We also offer specialized programs for military veterans with disabilities and encourage family members, friends, and caregivers to share in recreation experiences whenever possible.

Promoting Inclusion

Inclusion:

We believe everyone deserves access to the physical, emotional, and social benefits of outdoor recreation. Our programs foster meaningful connections, independence, and a sense of belonging for people with disabilities and their families.

Breaking Down Barriers:

Through specialized equipment, trained instructors, subsidized program fees, and financial assistance, DREAM works to remove physical, financial, and social barriers to outdoor recreation.

Access Projects & Advocacy:

Since our founding in 1985, DREAM has worked alongside community partners, public agencies, and land managers to identify and remove barriers to outdoor recreation. Through accessibility assessments, education, advocacy, and collaborative projects, we help create more inclusive outdoor spaces that people with disabilities can enjoy independently, with family and friends, and beyond DREAM programs.
