Water Sites
Whitefish City Beach
Whitefish City Beach is a popular destination for both locals and visitors, and is well used by DREAM throughout the summer as a launching point for paddle programs. Many people use this area to picnic, swim, and paddle, with the availability of rental paddle equipment. This beach area is heavily used, but there are some accessibility limitations that may require mobility device users to require the help of another person, especially to get from the sidewalk down to the waterfront. As of August 2024, the bathrooms have been updated to include grab bars, strategically placed soap dispensers, and the stall door now swings outwards. The city is currently working on improving the curb cuts around this area to improve overall flow and access to this area.
